That just feels shady to me… “Hey, this is the best way to do it” and then “Hey, we’re going to change our pricing model to take advantage of the thing we told you was the best way to do it.” I’ve got no proof that this was a discussion they had, but externally it kind of feels that way heh

I think it’s to have a workspace for each application/component and for each environment. In an enterprise, this could easily proliferate. Even on a small scale you could end up with a lot of workspaces.

They also have a $100,000/yr minimum for 500+ workspaces

just reminds me how grateful I am for how AWS has charged for its services. No longterm commitments. No minimums. Full transparency on pricing. I wish that was the norm and not the exception for cloud pricing.
