Hello everyone, I am searching for a tool that developers can use to simplify certain operations defined in playbooks or Python scripts by our DevOps team. It’s crucial that this tool has a user-friendly interface, can accept runtime parameters, and integrates well with Okta and permissions. Additionally, it should be adaptable and capable of expanding to incorporate more workflows as our needs increase. Does anyone have recommendations or experience with such a tool?

i knew some folks many years ago who used Rundeck for providing self-service access to playbook scripts via web & cli. looks like it’s still an active, popular project with support for what you need: https://github.com/rundeck/rundeck / https://www.rundeck.com/
@Andriy Knysh (Cloud Posse) im looking for a tool that has a ui that can accept parameters (just like ci/cd) to make actions self-served , an action can be anything, ansible playbook, python golang containers etc… and im asking if someone here is familiar with this tool
Do you have any Jenkins installation already in your stack? I think it could do whatever you need for very small effort
there should be some docker images ready
@IK My response was for the initial question - ui tool which one can run scripts/runbooks with parameters in order to make actions self-served
