@Erik Osterman (Cloud Posse) thanks. Regarding the SOA question, I guess my concern was having the two SOA records (one at namecheap, and one at aws). But I guess that, if the registrar is configured point to the name servers in the root account’s record in the apex domain hosted zone, it would be considered the authoritative one (even though it is delegated)?
Regardless, I think I can just give this a try

Another reference architecture question - I was just wondering if the intention with the audit account is to set up a CloudTrail Organization Trail within it? Currently I don’t see any combined logging in the audit account, although I may have missed it.
for the record, I now realise you have to be in the master account to create an Organization Trail

We setup cloudtrails in each member account to ship logs to the audit account bucket for cloud trails
@Erik Osterman (Cloud Posse) thanks - I will check again
My mistake - I didn’t notice the S3 storage location was in the other account - it’s all working fine!
What do you guys actually use to view the logs across all accounts?
I’m asking because the console trail viewer seems to include the current (audit) account only. I’m thinking Athena or ES
