Curious if anyone here has gotten helmfile + argo image updater functional together? What was your workaround for getting argo to not complain about the resource being of type plugin?

i’ve only used AIU with Kustomize, which per docs that and Helm are the only two supported application types as enforced here.
perhaps you could try something like https://github.com/argoproj-labs/argocd-image-updater/pull/302/files to force updating your image tag (git writeback?) on the assumption that helmfile will be able to render the result anyway?
