I don’t trust it, at least not the international data. I don’t know about US market but I worked and lived in 3 European countries and can tell that for example this cannot be true

Wanted to ask here people looking for a job. How did you find the process in the current market? Were you affected by layoffs?
[Hiring] [Global] [Remote]:
We provide DevOps solutions for a variety of customers with open roles across several of them. These clients are largely unsophisticated and their infrastructure is not scaling smoothly, their deployment velocity is backed up and they struggle to triage and debug production issues.
The work will focus on diving into the client systems to become the "expert" so that we can share and implement best practices. The ability to dive in and learn quickly is the most important characteristic we're looking for.
Right now, we are hiring several Platform Engineering (Architect Level) with a SRE focus. One stack runs MERN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS and NodeJS) on EKS ; we have an ambitious DevOps roadmap around an exciting product. The tooling is in Ruby, Python, and Go. Another stack is LAMP, and another is jBOSS/netty. We are currently working on optimizing that system and its lower environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable evaluating and advising on solution to problems from a System Architecture perspective. They would also have an interest and experience in designing system architecture and have a penchant for triaging, debugging and resolving issues in production.
We don't expect anyone to be an expert in any of those technologies, but a deep DevOps/SRE background, mid-level experience with one or two of the listed technologies and a willingness to (keep) learn(ing) is critical.
