GoPro is for a Senior Engineer for AWS DevOps / infrastructure engineering!

Our team builds and maintains the platform that powers GoPro’s photo & video services serving users via mobile apps and connected devices globally. We work as a hub in the middle of several development, data science, and product groups.
We run video processing clusters with up to 1000 EC2 instances and dozens of web and API services relying heavily on containers, Spot market, custom metrics, and diverse compute types. Experience running large-scale web services a major plus!
Environment: Linux on AWS, container orchestration with EKS & ECS. Lambda and CloudFront. CI/CD with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, JFrog, etc. Toolset: Terraform, Python, Helm, Nginx, Datadog, Cloudwatch, etc. Team: Geo-distributed between U.S. and Romania, our team is weighted towards senior engineers. Current size is 5 in Romania and 4 in U.S. Overall software group is around 60 people.

Two questions:
• Do you provide equity? (I’m assuming this is a Series a?)
• I see time zone US focused. I’m in US but have considered doing some digital nomad work in few years. I’m assuming that’s problematic but just wanted to ask. Just saying I wasn’t looking at any consulting companies but wow your description page is such a great sell on your culture already. Cheers
Awww, thanks @sheldonh! We’re proudly bootstrapped - never taken funding, and unlikely to ever consider it. Unfortunately, we do require US timezones, but anything can change in a few years
