Been lifting weights for a while and looking to upgrade from a cheap squat rack (half rack?) to something like a power rack that will allow me and my wife to use resistance bands. Any suggestions? Anything made in the US that isn’t out of stock right now?
This place has been good, but it looks like a lot of their stuff is backordered at the moment: https://www.frayfitness.com/

I have just finished another blog on some tips to landing your first job as a #devops engineer, I hope you enjoy it! https://bradmccoydev.medium.com/how-to-get-your-first-job-as-a-devops-engineer-a0bffbbdc6b8
As the Head of Platform Engineering, I am involved in the recruitment of DevOps and SRE and wanted to share some tips on what I look for…
evening! ive been checking out this build tool, which looks pretty cool: https://earthly.dev/
Build automation for the container era
Thanks for sharing will give this a test for sure
Build automation for the container era
While I wouldn’t use it, I can appreciate what it does. Approaches like this tend to confuse developers because it’s another layer of abstraction.
anyone using it? was wondering if you can have different sources for images, most of the examples only have one
not using it - but it looks really interesting

Does anyone know of a good Configuration Server solution that has GitOps in mind? Nacos and Apollo are the most popular Configuration Servers, however Apollo doesn’t have any English docs. Nacos doesn’t have any “sync from a git repository” feature.
Other than that, it seems like there aren’t any solutions out there. There is CloudBees Rollout, but it’s proprietary and maybe more focused on feature flags, not configuration.
If this was for a purely k8s solution, I’d just use ArgoCD or Weave Flux and keep all the helm overrides in git.

A reliable configuration management system
Simplify feature flag management at scale with CloudBees Feature Management. Separate feature deployment from code releases!
Consul?

Otherwise there seem to be some pretty well established OSS feature flag projects out there
Thanks! Ended up making a homegrown gitops-y solution with Mozilla SOPS and AWS Parameter Store. Consul is a no go because it’s overkill for the client.

GitHub now automatically creates a table of contents for your http://README.md files from your headers.
After much consideration, we made this a feature of the viewer, not a concern of the editor: no special markdown to insert.
Let us know what you think!

Ouch. love the introspective though, https://twitter.com/awilkinson/status/1376985854229504007?s=19
This is a story about how I lost $10,000,000 by doing something stupid.
Ten. Million. Dollars.
Literally up in smoke. Money bonfire.
That’s enough to retire with $250,000+ in annual income.
Here’s what happened…
