 Hi everyone, I’m looking into the Atmos project and I want to say it’s awesome, it should make our lives easier. Can you please tell me if it is possible to specify a single component or a group of components and exclude one or more components during the deployment? That is, we need to be able to have multiple engineers working on the same stack and if someone makes a change, they can roll back the changes of another colleague. Of course, we can look at the plan, but is there a possibility to just specify what should be deployed? There are commands in terragrunt: --terragunt-include-dir
, --terragrunt-exclude-dir
, --terragrunt-strict-include
, --terragrunt-ignore-external-dependencies
, etc. We need the same in Atmos.
Thanks @Petr Dondukov for the kind words
Best place to ask usage questions is in atmos

Recently I worked on Gloo Mesh Enterprise. It is a commercial version of Kubernetes Federation (obsolete). Here is the multiple cluster settings, https://docs.solo.io/gloo-mesh-enterprise/latest/getting_started/multi/gs_multi/.
Explore how you can use Solo’s products to secure and manage your application network.
What was the use-case?
Explore how you can use Solo’s products to secure and manage your application network.
multiple cluster mesh and API gateway
still feel it is too overkilled lol
Or I mean what problem was the business hoping to solve
seems to me it is an enhancement on top of service mesh
kube federation is obsolete, and there are other alternatives, but not being used a lot in real projects

You guys ever consider selling swag that says “insane cloud posse” or just “cloud posse” swag ? Id wear it around if it wasnt too loud
Yea we are overdue for this. Whats the best platform for this these days?
Some of the juggalo stuff that came up by the ai was wild lol. I’m not a juggalo. Also kind of surprised no one has ever said insane cloud posse. Either way, any swag would be cool.
I’m not sure what everyone is using for selling shirts these days.
There must be a platform where you can supply designs without any inventory
Yea, there are a ton of those platforms, which is why the hesitation. Previously we used squarespace, but that required a monthly subscription.
Not a customer but i have heard this is an option for swag: https://www.spreadshop.com/
there’s another that i can’t recall at the moment. will try to think of it.
Start your own merch shop or integrate a POD plugin within your existing store. Sell your merch and print-on-demand products effortlessly with Spreadshop
Ideally whatever platform it is supports International shipping without insane charges. Sometimes ordering a $40 shirt from Canada ends up costing $100 with fees and duties
This who BP uses. https://www.logosoftwear.com/

Is AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) right for your cloud infrastructure?
If you’re working in a regulated industry and managing multi-account AWS environments, AWS LZA could be a powerful option. It automates governance and security controls, but also comes with challenges.
Check out my latest article for the pros and cons of LZA: https://medium.com/cloudplatformengineering/is-aws-landing-zone-accelerator-any-good-2fdb1aadb35e

For awareness, I got an email from this campaign yesterday! For Windows users, be on the lookout for semi legitimate looking emails from GitHub notifications https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/clever-github-scanner-campaign-abusing-repos-to-push-malware/
A clever threat campaign is abusing GitHub repositories to distribute malware targeting users who frequent an open source project repository or are subscribed to email notifications from it. A malicious GitHub user opens a new “issue” on an open source repository falsely claiming that the project contains a “security vulnerability.”
I got this too. The issue was deleted (by GitHub) before I could view it.

In 2024, Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) are set to transform how teams operate by simplifying cloud management, automating workflows, and empowering developers. With 83% of organisations adopting platform engineering in some capacity, and 20% fully implementing it, the rise of IDPs is becoming more evident. To highlight the best options, I’ve compiled a list of the Top 10 IDPs based on G2 rankings:
- Qovery
- Portainer
- Appvia (Wayfinder)
- Bunnyshell
- Gravity Cloud
- mogenius
- OpsLevel
- WarpBuild (Argonaut)
- Coherence
- Flightcontrol
With so many choices—including in-house builds—it can be overwhelming. Linus’s phone got hacked https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVyu7NB7W6Y, it is heard from my kid a couple of days ago, and it is wild. I was in Telco industry for many years. The organization behind Telco is ITU-T for this case. It think it is the time US takes over the control from EU countries.
Someone said, one App Veritasium mentioned is not secure, which is Signal
Can you explain to me how the US “taking control” from EU countries would help?
It is just one of observations, I don’t take side. WiMAX ever advanced before LTE. If you knew what happened before WiMAX was dead, you may have some ideas about what I meant.
