This is not an accurate representation of what is happening in the Nix community. The projects have needed more effective governance for a long time, and now there’s significant popular support behind building that. Eelco formally stepped down from his Foundation seat to make room for the new governance structure, and to finally end the incorrect idea that he’s BDFL - a position he never wanted in the first place, and which only existed in the sense that people who don’t know any better decided he must occupy. He still leads the Nix core team, and probably always will
yeah, feeling same that nix community governance was not managed well, the guys are using nix actively seems low profile, it does need a community advocate position

Does it have a community like Airflow, is it mature enough to trust it?
I knew this project from a MLOps course, the community is active and mature and UI is more friendly to start with
and mageai can work with Airflow as well
With the industry now standardising on Iceberg, I wonder is there any benefit to data tools specifically tailored to iceberg? Might be a bit early as RBAC and streaming are still differentiated.
