IMPORTANT: next week we plan to switch our Cloud Posse alpine package repository to Cloudsmith who have graciously stepped up to host it. The Cloudsmith team are long time SweetOps community members and have provided phenomenal support to help make this a reality. :bow: For fast, secure development and distribution for web-scale package management, checkout cloudsmith.io to learn more or ping @Lee Skillen.
This shouldn’t break anything and they’ve gone the extra mile to add backward compatibility for our repos. However, if you want to test for breaking changes, you can swap out [apk.cloudposse.com](http://apk.cloudposse.com) with [packages.cloudposse.com](http://packages.cloudposse.com) . We’re still going to keep [apk.cloudposse.com](http://apk.cloudposse.com) and redirect the DNS to the new host, but the [packages.cloudposse.com](http://packages.cloudposse.com) is currently live and available for testing.
